Rear Crash Protection

The api team dedicated to being at the forefront of innovation, particularly in enhancing safety within our Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV)

The unique patented rear impact protection system significantly increases the safety of the vehicle occupants, transferring the forces of a rear impact back onto the chassis rails, locking the rear ramp assembly into side brackets when the ramp is closed offering more protection to the rear of the vehicle.

Zero Effort Technology

Our ZeroEffort concept, makes the wheelchair access experience effortless, our ramp system is so light that it holds its own weight. This technology is still present on the powered ramp, meaning that the ramp is still supportred even when disconnected from the ramp opener. The ZreoEffort system gives the average operating force of only 3kg, making it one of the lightest ramps to use on the market.

Interior Finish

The interior trimmed in the original high quality acoustic carpet to give the conversion an OEM feel. The new lightweight ramp is finished with a high visibility edge. This gives the ramp a robust yet practical finish. LED pan lights are also installed as standard, emitting a soft ambient lighting and increase visibility in the floor.
