The RolliBox system combines all qualities required for a vehicle to transport not only regular passengers but also individuals in wheelchairs in the most comfortable, safe and professional way.
The “RolliBox” is therefore equipped with seat rails, which ensure a secure attachment as well as the flexibility of the seats.
Ergonomic & safe
It is by means of ergonomic seat contours combined with stable seat structures that the seat manufacturers “Schnierle” guarantee that these fold-away seats exceed the quality of regular seats by far.
If a passenger in a wheelchair has to be transported, the secure fastening of the wheelchair is facilitated by fold-out support arms, equipped with restraint straps which come out of the box.
A flexible system – TÜV tested
The most remarkable feature is that the person sitting in a wheelchair can use the regular 3-point seat belt provided for the passenger seat.
By pushing the wheelchair towards the headrest of the seat, it can be adapted for wheelchair users and therefore offer the optimum protection in case of an accident.
Due to the flexibility of the system, the carrier is always able to react to the respective situation and has the maximum number of seats or wheelchair restraint systems on board at all times. At the moment the system is planned to be provided for minibuses and PTS vehicles. A future expansion towards the field of bus service, as proved possible by the system‘s use in coaches, is currently being discussed.
